Formerly known as Elstree and Borehamwood Light Operatic Society. EBLOS Musical Theatre was founded in 1961. We are an amateur Musical Performing Society, affiliated to NODA, who perform two large scale shows at the Radlett Centre each year. Over the years our shows have varied from Gilbert & Sullivan and Light Operetta through to the well known and well loved musicals of the twentieth century. Recent productions have included some smash hit musicals, such as 'Anything Goes', 'Guys and Dolls', 'Calamity Jane', 'My Fair Lady', 'Kiss Me, Kate" 'Annie Get Your Gun' and 'Oliver!' As well as producing these large scale events, we also perform concerts during the year and are proud to have a long association with the area's annual summer festival. Throughout the year we have a wide range of social and fundraising events, where society members are able to relax, have fun and on some occasions, even behave like big children!! We meet for rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:45pm, Fairway Hall in Borehamwood. At EBLOS we do not require you to have had previous experience or training, all we ask is for you to be enthusiastic and to enjoy yourself! New members are always welcome to join the fun and frolics of our friendly society, why not pop down to rehearsals and see for yourself.
